would you like to know jesus as your personal savior?

Asking Jesus into your heart and beginning the journey of being in a personal relationship with Him is, hands down, the best and most important decision you will ever make. It does not make life perfect and it will not keep pain from coming your way; it will, however, fill your heart with hope and peace through life's storms and you will know a love that knows no bounds. When you ask Jesus into your heart as a believer, you are filled with the very same Holy Spirit that lives inside of Him. He is the Great Comforter and will never leave you or forsake you.

It's about more than securing a place in heaven. It's about walking through life on earth knowing you are loved more than you ever knew was possible. Whether your life has been safe and secure and abounding with love or it has been filled with chaos, abuse, heartache, and pain - you have never not been loved. God, the Creator of all things, loves you (yes, YOU) so much that He sent His one and only Son to come to earth, take on human flesh, show us how to live in love and freedom, then be sacrificed on a cross to die for all of our sins. He paid the ultimate price just so we could be close to Him for all of eternity.

The Bible tells this great love story. It is oftentimes confusing and, sometimes, seems to contradict itself, but it is the most beautiful narrative of a good God who consistently is drawing all of humanity closer to Him by moving us forward in perfect love. He meets us where we are, no matter our circumstance, and gently calls us to His side as He patiently guides us deeper and deeper into His love and freedom. Salvation in God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ with the gift of the Holy Spirit is having faith that His intentions for us are always good and, despite a difficult chapter, the full story for our lives and all of humanity is about about His love and goodness pulling us closer to Him.

In John 14:6, Jesus declares that He is "The Way, The Truth, and The Life" and that nobody comes to the Father except through Him, meaning the only way to know God and be in relationship with Him is by accepting the love and salvation that Christ provided when He died for our sins on the cross. To accept this love and salvation, the Bible tells us in Romans 10:9, all we need to do is declare, out loud, that "Jesus is Lord" and believe within our hearts that He is risen from the dead. And, in Ephesians 2:8, it tells us that "by grace you have been saved through faith; and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God," which means there is nothing you can do to earn it. None of us come into this love and salvation through word or deed - it is by grace and grace alone. We are all imperfect people in need of a Savior. God, in his infinite love and mercy, has given it to us as a gift and all that is required of us is to reach out in humility and accept it.

If you believe Jesus Christ is Lord, died on the cross for your sins, is risen from the dead and you would like to accept this gift of salvation or maybe you knew God long ago and have since walked away and would like to recommit yourself to Him, We invite you to say a simple prayer, out loud, to declare it over your life. It doesn't have to be fancy, but it does have to be genuine. If you would like, you can use the guided prayer below:

God, I confess that my sins have separated me from You and I am truly sorry. Please forgive me.
I believe in my heart that Your Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for my sins, is risen from the dead, and is Lord of all.
I invite Your Holy Spirit to come into my heart, transform me, and have reign in my life from this day forward.
I have faith that Your intentions for me are good and that Your love is infinite, steadfast, and pure.
Please draw me closer to You every single day and teach me Your ways so I can be more like You.
I love you, Lord, and I commit my life to You.

If you just said that prayer, or one of your own, and asked Jesus into your heart as your personal Savior, We want to say CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to the family! We are so happy for you and what is to come with your new-found faith and freedom! We would love to hear your testimony, so if you would like to share it with us, contact us here.

As a new or returning believer, We encourage you to find a Christian friend or family member you trust and tell them about your recent decision to follow Christ then invite them into your life as an encourager, helper, and accountability partner. We also encourage you to find a healthy church, small group, or Bible study to be a part of and get your hands on a Bible to read so your faith can truly blossom. The journey has just begun, and if you continue to sow into your relationship with God, He will grow your faith and transform your life!

Thank You, Lord, for your love and faithfulness to us!
